Salahuddin Ahmmed (IOM Bangladesh) invited his good friend Mariangela D'Adamo (WASH Specialist at MSB, seconded to UNICEF) for a chat. Mariangela chose to talk about Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM), also tackling the stigma around non-binary persons who have menstrual hygiene needs. MSM20: PARTICIPANT'S VIEW

Placidia Vavirai, WASH specialist and field delegate for Swiss Red Cross, participated in this year's MSM20 international training in Austria and reflects on the training as well as the activities around it in this story.

- The website of the IFRC Cash & WASH technical working group has been updated with the latest market assessment reports from Kenya and Nepal.
- In case you are bored during the holidays, take this free MOOC on Nature-based Solutions for Disaster and Climate Resilience by PEDRR, SDG Academy & UNEP.
- PGI in WASH updates from the IFRC: The PGI in WASH Guidance Note is now also available in Spanish, French and Arabic here. Also take a look at the Alphabet Soup videos and the Questions to Guide WASH Programming on the same website. Until 14 January, IFRC also asks you to provide feedback for the observation checklist for inclusive WASH facilities.
- Also have a look at the revised IFRC Community Engagement and Accountability (CEA) toolkit which includes useful templates, checklists and detailed guidance.
- Good news: the 13th Ebola outbreak has been defeated last week in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) which deserves some celebration.
