Project title: Lira Integrated WASH and Food Security Project

Summary: During cycle 1 of the micro project, it was observed that latrine coverage is very low (35 %) and hygiene behaviors are often poor. Therefore, this project wants to support the community by supplying sanitation tools accompanied with sensitization through the PHAST approach. During the family farming sessions in cycle 1, the farmers also noted that increasingly unpredictable weather patterns make farming very risky. Based on the feedback, the project wants to introduce hydroponic farming as a perennial farming technique.
