On World Toilet Day we hosted the very first Skybird WASH Network event. We want to use this opportunity to thank our colleagues from Rwanda and Ethiopia Red Cross Society for their presentations. A big thank you also goes out to our participants. We hope you had some fun speed dating your colleagues and to see you soon at future Skybird WASH Network events.

We are hiring!
Currently, we are looking for an Emergency Medical Services Delegate to work in Rwanda for 6 months (extension possible) and a Business Incubation Manger to be located in Armenia, starting in January 2021.





Honduras2
The AutRC delegates Mike Wolf and Wilfried Hildenbrand have arrived with colleagues from Sweden, Germany, Spain, France and other National Societies to support Honduras RC in their response after Hurricanes Eta and Iota. Additionally, Lidwina Dox is currently on Lesvos, as a Rapid Response WASH Coordinator. Find her report here.

What else?

The IFRC is currently reviewing the 2012 WASH and Gender Guidance Note and seeks the feedback from WASH and PGI practitioners to make future outputs as relevant and useful as possible. The deadline for submission has been extended to December 4. Fill in the survey here. Your input is highly appreciated.

Please have a look at the WASH Innovation Market Place. The innovations in the market place are looking for potential adopters to scale up ideas. You can register for Q&A sessions taking place December 14, 15 & 16. We particularly recommend you watch the video about our Faecal Sludge Field Laboratory (FSFL) presented by Georg Ecker.
