Gashaw

SKYBIRDS IN FRONT OF THE CURTAIN

My name is Gashaw Dagne, I'm a public health professional (MPH) with a background of Environmental health (BSC in Env. health science). My current position is Coordinator for Austrian Red Cross supported programs, at Ethiopia Red Cross Society. My recent absurd moment in a WASH activity was when we were in the field to visit the status of a Water supply facility which was constructed one year before. What we learned from our observation was that provision of safe water supply is not enough unless supported by continuous follow up and behavioral change activities on proper utilization and management of the facility.
